Terms and Conditions

Terms governing the use of Vox-Trace by RISINGSTAR INNOVATION – FZCO.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Vox-Trace, operated by RISINGSTAR INNOVATION – FZCO (“Risingstar”, “we”, “us”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • Service: Vox-Trace website, web application, APIs, and related services.
  • User / You: Any individual or entity using the Service.
  • User Content: Audio, text, documents, recordings, transcripts, prompts, and other content uploaded or generated by users.
  • AI Output: Transcripts, summaries, analyses, and suggestions generated by AI features.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally capable of entering into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

3. The Service

Vox-Trace provides AI-powered tools for recording meetings and interviews, generating transcripts and summaries, and supporting workflows. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

4. Your Responsibilities

4.1 Compliance With Laws

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, including privacy, data protection, employment, and recording laws.

4.2 Recording and Consent

You are solely responsible for informing participants and obtaining all legally required consents before recording or uploading any conversation. Vox-Trace does not monitor your recordings and assumes no responsibility for consent compliance.

4.3 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of your User Content.

5.2 Representations

You represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions to provide User Content and grant this license.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful or harmful purposes.
  • Infringe privacy, employment, or intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt unauthorized access or disrupt the Service.
  • Upload malware or harmful code.
  • Reverse engineer or extract source code except where permitted by law.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product using non-public features.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

7. AI Features and Disclaimer

AI Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. AI Output is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing AI Output before relying on it.

8. Plans, Fees, and Payments

Some features require payment. Pricing is displayed at checkout or in plan details. Payments are processed by third-party providers. We do not store full payment card details.

8.1 Usage Allowances and Monthly Limits

Certain paid plans may include a monthly usage allowance (such as minutes, credits, or feature-based limits). The applicable allowance for your plan is displayed at the time of purchase or in your account settings.

Usage allowances are provided on a per-billing-cycle basis and are intended to be used only within the applicable period.

8.2 Monthly Reset and Non-Carryover

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

  • Usage allowances automatically reset at the end of each billing cycle, calculated from the date your subscription begins.
  • Each billing cycle covers a one (1) month period from the subscription start date (for example, 28–31 days depending on the calendar month).
  • Unused usage allowances do not carry over into subsequent billing cycles.
  • Usage allowances have no cash value and are non-refundable.

Resetting usage allowances does not affect your subscription status, billing, or payment obligations.

8.3 Changes to Plans and Allowances

We may modify pricing, plan structures, or usage limits from time to time. Any changes will apply prospectively and will not retroactively affect usage already consumed within a billing period.

8.4 Free and Guest Usage

Vox-Trace may be accessed in a free or guest mode with limited functionality.

  • Free or guest users are not charged any fees.
  • Usage limits for free or guest access may be restricted or informational only.
  • Displayed pricing, plans, or usage information for guest users is provided solely to explain available options and does not create any payment obligation.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free or guest access at any time.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breaches, non-payment, or unlawful use. You may stop using the Service at any time. Data handling after termination follows our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD 100 if no fees were paid.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Risingstar from claims arising from your use of the Service, User Content, or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Courts of Dubai, UAE shall have exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
